Overview
Join our dynamic manufacturing team as a Production Machine Operator - Cases! In this role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various production machines to create high-quality, highly customized cases using sheet metal, aluminum extrusions, plastics and other materials. Your expertise will help ensure efficient production processes, uphold safety standards, and deliver top-notch products to our customers. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with machinery in a job shop environment, contributing directly to the success of our manufacturing operations.

Duties

• Set up, operate, and monitor production machines including mechanical presses, saws, sanders, drill presses, shears, CNC machine centers, CNC press brakes, routers and more.
• Perform quality inspections using precision measuring instruments such as calipers to ensure products meet strict quality standards.
• Handle materials safely and efficiently using forklifts and other materials handling equipment to move raw materials and finished products within the warehouse or production area.
• Conduct routine maintenance on machinery and troubleshoot issues promptly to minimize downtime.
• Follow lean manufacturing principles to optimize workflow, reduce waste, and improve overall efficiency.
• Assist in fabrication and assembly tasks using hand tools and fabrication equipment as needed.
• Maintain accurate documentation of production activities, quality checks, and machine performance logs.

Requirements

• Proven experience operating manufacturing machinery such as hydraulic presses, drill presses, CNC equipment.
• Mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot and perform basic repairs on complex equipment.
• Manufacturing experience including materials handling with forklifts and/or pallet jacks.
• Strong understanding of quality inspection techniques using calipers, gauges, and other precision measuring tools.
• Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and quality assessments.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing practices to promote continuous improvement.
• Ability to read technical drawings and operate hand tools for fabrication or assembly tasks.

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
