Auction Photographer & Shipping/Fulfillment Associate

Location: Missoula, Montana
Employment Type: Full-Time, On-Site

Davis Brothers Auction is one of North America’s largest online auction platforms. We handle thousands of unique items each year -including jewelry, antiques, collectibles, and firearms. We are seeking a hardworking, trustworthy, and career-minded individual to join our growing team in Missoula, MT.

Role Overview

The Auction Photographer & Shipping/Fulfillment Associate plays a critical role in our operations - capturing high-quality product photos, ensuring safe packaging and shipping, assisting with firearm auction processing in compliance with all laws, and occasionally traveling to help relocate consignments. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on environment and wants to grow a long-term career in the auction industry.

Responsibilities

  • Photography: Take clear, professional images of auction items using an iPhone. Product photography experience preferred.
  • Order Fulfillment: Pack and ship sold items with care, ensuring they arrive safely to buyers.
  • Heavy Lifting: Safely move and pack items, including those weighing over 75 lbs.
  • Consignment Handling: Assist with relocating consignments in-house and off-site.
  • Travel: Occasionally travel for work-related pickups, deliveries, and project assistance.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with staff to maintain efficiency and quality standards.
  • Firearms Compliance: Assist in photographing and processing firearms in accordance with all ATF and Montana state laws.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent college education).
  • Strong photography skills with an iPhone; product photography knowledge a plus.
  • Ability to lift and move items over 75 lbs on a regular basis.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for work.
  • Reliable, honest, punctual, and eager to grow in a career setting.
  • Must be legally eligible to possess firearms under federal and Montana law (e.g., no disqualifying felony convictions).

Compensation & Benefits

  • Starting Salary: $40,000/year.
