What You’ll Do

  • Walk dogs of various sizes and breeds, ensuring safety, comfort, and positive experiences
  • Provide in-home pet care visits including feeding, fresh water, playtime, and basic care
  • Monitor pet behavior and well-being, reporting any concerns to the office or pet owners
  • Follow leash laws, safety protocols, and company standards at all times
  • Clean up after pets during walks and visits
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with pet owners through visit updates
  • Build long-term trust with clients through excellent, reliable service

What We’re Looking For

  • A genuine love for animals and a strong sense of responsibility
  • Reliable transportation and ability to travel locally
  • Comfortable working independently and following schedules
  • Physically able to walk dogs in various weather conditions
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Prior pet care experience is a plus (dog walking, pet sitting, vet tech, shelter work), but not required
  • Veterinary or animal care background is welcome, not mandatory
  • Must have a vehicle

Why Join Walkers Pet Care

  • Flexible part-time scheduling
  • Paid training and ongoing support
  • Work with animals in your local community
  • Be part of a professional, established pet care team
  • Meaningful work that truly helps pets and their families
