Green Label Title is a growing title insurance agency committed to providing exceptional service throughout New Jersey and Florida. We’re looking for an experienced Recording Specialist who understands the recording process inside and out and takes pride in getting difficult documents recorded correctly and efficiently.

Position Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Title Insurance Recording Specialist to manage all aspects of document recording throughout New Jersey. This is not an entry-level position. The ideal candidate has extensive experience working with County Clerk recording offices and understands how to resolve recording rejections quickly and efficiently.

This individual will play a critical role in ensuring all closing documents are properly recorded while working closely with our post-closing, processing, and operations teams.

Responsibilities

• Review closing packages prior to recording for accuracy and completeness.
• Prepare and submit documents for recording with County Clerks throughout New Jersey.
• Resolve recording rejections and deficiencies by identifying issues and obtaining corrected documents.
• Work directly with attorneys, lenders, processors, municipalities, and County Clerk offices to cure recording issues.
• Understand county-specific recording requirements across New Jersey.
• Track recordings from submission through confirmation.
• Follow up on delayed recordings and proactively resolve outstanding issues.
• Maintain accurate recording records within our title software.
• Assist with post-closing tasks as needed.
• Ensure all recordings are completed accurately and timely.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of title insurance recording or post-closing experience.
• Extensive knowledge of recording requirements throughout New Jersey.
• Proven ability to cure rejected recordings and solve complex recording issues.
• Strong understanding of deeds, mortgages, satisfactions, affidavits, corrective documents, and recording standards.
• Exceptional organizational and follow-up skills.
• Ability to manage multiple files and deadlines simultaneously.
• Strong communication skills with attorneys, lenders, and county personnel.
• Experience with Qualia is a strong plus.

Please Note: This is an in-office position located in Wall Township, New Jersey. Remote or hybrid arrangements will not be considered.

Pay: $45,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
